MGSI and MMC participated in the recently concluded job fair and medical mission in Malolos City, Bulacan on February 3 for overseas sea-based and local land-based opportunities.
The activity was organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in commemoration of the late journalist and high-ranking politician Gat Blas F. Ople’s 96th birthday and was held in collaboration with the Bulacan Provincial Government and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Actively leading the activity was Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando.
DMW Secretary Susan Ople, on the other hand, encouraged Filipino job seekers to consider local placements before looking for overseas opportunities. She also advised the public to be vigilant of job offers from social media and trust legal and official manning agencies like MGSI and MMC as both Magsaysay companies do not ask for placement and processing fees.
