The first batch of Magsaysay Global Services, Inc. (MGSI) employees successfully completed a 30-hour Japanese Language and Culture program at the Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA). The intensive training was conducted from June 3 to July 29, 2024, and was facilitated by Japanese language teachers Sensei Cecilia Sarmiento and Sensei Myra Riza Alcera.
Intended to strengthen MGSI’s service commitments to both partners and applicants, the language program aimed to facilitate smoother communication with Japanese clients. Given the company’s extensive partnerships with established Japanese companies across various industries, this initiative is crucial in maintaining strong business relationships.
‟‟Ichi go ichi e,” a Japanese concept meaning “the unrepeatable nature of a moment—once in a lifetime.”” This insight deepened my appreciation for the opportunity provided by MGSI. While we may have chances to learn the basics of Japanese language again, the bonds and enjoyment we built in our class are unique and irreplaceable. This philosophy encourages us to cherish each moment and the people we meet, leading to deeper connections and a greater appreciation for our journey. I am grateful to be among the chosen employees for this Japanese training.” said Ms. Ronie Lyn Menor, Account Officer of MGSI who was recognized as the top student in the batch.
Omedetou Gozaimasu to all participants!
